Athenian Black - Annie Sloan Satin Paint

Developed by Annie Sloan to complement her Chalk Paint range. This soft-sheen paint is hard wearing and there is no need to apply a wax or lacquer.

Annie Sloan Satin Paint in Athenian Black is a perfect, pitch-black. 

Ideal for adding drama, making a monochromatic statement on kitchen cabinets, or contrasting with other colours, this shade was inspired by the shadow figures painted on Ancient Greek pottery.

How do you use Annie Sloan Satin Paint?

All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from any dust, debris or oil-based contaminants before applying Annie Sloan Satin Paint. We advise using a water-based detergent such as sugar soap to thoroughly clean. If you are painting a metal surface, we advise applying a specialist primer underneath Satin Paint.

What can I use Annie Sloan Satin Paint on?

Annie Sloan Satin Paint is formulated for interior use on wood and metal, and has two main purposes. Firstly, it’s been designed to be used in conjunction with Annie Sloan Wall Paint on skirting, millwork, architraves, doors and other busy areas of the home. Secondly, it’s been developed to offer a contemporary-looking “one-step” solution to painting wooden and metal furniture.

Does Annie Sloan Satin Paint need sealing?

There is no need to add a wax or lacquer to the paint.

Available in 750ml tin. 750ml is enough to cover approximately 11 square metres.
